Just in time for the spooky season, Universal Studios shared today that Death Eaters will return to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida to terrorize any and all guests. They'll be swarming the Diagon Alley section, so be sure to grab your invisibility cloak before walking through the Wizarding World streets this fall!

According to a press release from the Universal Orlando Resort, Harry Potter's Death Eaters will be present on select dates starting on Aug. 29 and ending on Nov. 3. That means as early as this Thursday. So what does their return entail? You'll want to start practicing your Unforgivable Curses for this one:

"This interactive live entertainment experience brings guests face-to-face with Lord Voldemort’s most loyal supporters, the ominous Death Eaters, as they lurk through London and into the shadowed streets of Knockturn Alley. These fanatic witches and wizards do not shy away from the practice of the Dark Arts and will challenge guests to join the Dark Lord alongside them.

Fans can also visit Borgin and Burkes in Diagon Alley to shop for Dark Arts-themed merchandise like t-shirts, accessories, and Death Eater masks – or check out the selection of Death Eater wands at Ollivanders."

Love Harry Potter but can't remember who the Death Eaters are? Here's the rundown. Mentioned briefly throughout the first few books and movies but not officially introduced as a group until the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire book, Death Eaters are Voldemort's followers who believe only pure-blood wizards and witches are worthy of life. Following the motto "Magic is Might," this sinister group is usually seen wearing black hoods and masks. Some of the most memorable Death Eaters include Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange, and even Severus Snape — though Snape has different intentions.

Also at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando, the resort is currently hosting its "Back to Hogwarts" celebration which began on Aug. 1 and ends on Sept. 1. This month-long initiative invites guests to rep their house, whether it be Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff. Additionally, Universal Studios Orlando is preparing for what's bound to be a big year for The Wizarding World in 2025, with a very exciting Ministry of Magic-themed land on its way.

This new installment will see guests shopping at stores like the Parisian wand shop Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, drinking exclusive beers, wines, and cocktails at Bar Moonshine, and enjoying a theater experience of live performers. Sounds like I'm due for a trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, how about you?

As we all look ahead to Halloween time, be sure to meet some Death Eaters — if you dare — at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. And if you prefer to enjoy your Harry Potter from home, note that all eight movies will be moving from Peacock to Max on Sept. 1.
