Harry Potter Color Changing Cocoa is now on sale at Costco (at some locations)

Let's hope it tastes better than polyjuice potion, but it might not!

The holidays are about to get a lot more fun at the homes of Harry Potter fans this holiday season! There's a new Harry Potter-themed hot cocoa that changes colors as it brews.

According to a report from Delish, the @costcohype Instagram found this steal of a deal. For less than $15, you can get the Harry Potter Color Changing Cocoa Set to make some (hopefully!) delicious hot cocoa. You can find the video of the Harry Potter Color Changing Cocoa Set at Costco right here.

Look, I haven't tried it, so I don't know how good it is, but it looks like it would be fun at the very least, even if the hot cocoa isn't getting the best reviews from those who bought the item at Costco.

According to the post, you get a bunch of different colors of cocoa in packets, marshmallows, two stir sticks that are shaped like wands, and two cocoa mugs that look like cauldrons. Based on the instructions on the back of the packaging, it looks like all you have to do is add the water and stir and the cocoa changes color as you mix. What sorcery is this? You don't need the help of the Half-Blood Prince to get this recipe wrong.

I don't know, but this feels more like a Halloween activity than a Christmas/Winter activity. In some places around the country, especially where I live, it's quite cold on Halloween. Not that anyone needs any more sugar on Halloween, but it's maybe a fun activity to do with your kids, especially if they're dressing up like Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, or any of the other Harry Potter characters.

Unfortunately, I could not find the Harry Potter Color Changing Cocoa Mix online at Costco. So, it sounds like you're just going to have to find that one at a Costco location near you. To bad we can't just apparate to the location with the

Interestingly, the page has turned off comments on the Harry Potter Color Changing Cocoa Set while other posts still have comments available. Delish reported that fans were not happy with their purchase because the cocoa "tastes awful." Maybe, the polyjuice potion was the better choice after all!

I have the sneaking suspicion that's why comments have been turned off, but we'll just have to wait and see.

If you do get the Harry Potter Color Changing Cocoa Set, you can mix it all up while watching the Harry Potter movies on MAX right now. The movies just moved back to MAX this month after moving to Peacock for the month of August.
