Daniel Radcliffe is going to be lighting up our screens once again! But this time it won’t be with magic! Read here for all the details!
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Daniel Radcliffe show up on our screens! Unless you count your Harry Potter marathons! Projects come down now and again, but it’s just never enough for all of us fans. Well, the wait is over once again. Radcliffe has joined the cast of a new movie set in an Australian themed thriller!
The plot for the movie has been released by Babber Films, Cutting Edge Group, Screen Australia, and Screen Queensland.
A group of friends join a guide for a trek into the Bolivian jungle, searching for an Indian village. The men soon realize that the jungle is a difficult place to be.
The movie is based on the novel “Jungle: A Harrowing True Story of Survival” written by Yossi Ghinsberg. Yeah, you read that right! This wasn’t just a novel for Yossi Ghinsberg, it was a horrifying and true ordeal! If you’re interested in reading the book, which you should be, you can grab that here!
Daniel Radcliffe is back!
Our favorite ‘Boy Who Lived’ plays the leading role of Yossi. It’s a much more serious role for the actor, as it’s a movie about hardship and survival. Yes, we’ve seen those two things from him before. But the wizarding world was a tad bit different. Not always lighter or easier, but different.
The movie is set to be released on August 3rd, 2017 at the Melbourne International Film Festival. It’s slated to be the opening feature of the night, with Daniel and director Greg McLean. We can only hope that it will be released for public consumption very shortly after it’s premiere!
